Legacy Detailing Terms of Service

Effective Date: September 4, 2026 · Last Updated: September 4, 2026 · Version 2026-09-04.v2

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the websites, applications, software, platforms, tools, and services provided by Path to Legacy LLC d/b/a Legacy Detailing (“Legacy Detailing,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collectively referred to as the “Services.”

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, clicking “I Agree,” or otherwise accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to create an account or purchase the Services.

If you use Legacy Detailing on behalf of a business or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Services

Legacy Detailing provides an all-in-one software platform designed primarily for automotive detailing businesses, their teams, their customers, and their households.

Depending upon the features included with your account, the Services may provide tools relating to:

  • Customer relationship management, lead tracking, and marketing automation;
  • Scheduling, dispatch, route planning, and weather-aware appointment rescheduling;
  • Photo-based and size-based quoting, estimates, invoicing, and payment collection;
  • Job management, service checklists, and field operations;
  • Inventory management, chemical tracking, purchasing intelligence, and shopping lists;
  • Employee, contractor, and sales-representative management, commissions, and payroll-related calculations;
  • Business accounting, bookkeeping, expense tracking, profitability analysis, mileage logging, and financial reporting;
  • Personal and household finance tools, including budgets, bill tracking, debt payoff planning, income and take-home-pay estimation, cash-flow forecasting, cash-flow “survival” analysis, and tax set-aside (“Tax Vault”) tracking;
  • Household partner access, shared and individual budgeting, and household financial alerts;
  • Financial account connectivity through authorized providers;
  • Training, certification, and educational content through the Legacy Academy, including a course marketplace and creator tools;
  • Artificial-intelligence tools, including AI-assisted lesson writing, quiz and slide generation, AI-generated video, and AI avatar features;
  • A customer portal for a business's own customers;
  • Electronic communications, including email, in-app notifications, and SMS/text messages;
  • Analytics, leaderboards, document management, and other business-management functions.

Features may be added, modified, suspended, or discontinued over time.

3. Legacy Detailing Is a Software Provider

Legacy Detailing provides technology and business-management tools.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Legacy Detailing is not your accountant, attorney, tax preparer, financial advisor, insurance agent, payroll professional, human-resources professional, employment-law advisor, bank, money transmitter, or financial institution.

Information generated by the Services — including budgets, forecasts, tax estimates, survival-mode recommendations, purchase recommendations, and AI-generated output — is provided to assist users in managing their businesses and personal finances and should not be considered professional legal, tax, accounting, financial, investment, employment, safety, or regulatory advice.

Users remain responsible for determining whether actions taken through or based upon the Services comply with applicable laws and regulations, and for verifying important figures before acting on them.

4. Accounts

You agree to provide accurate and current information when creating and maintaining your account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity occurring through your account.

You must notify Legacy Detailing promptly if you reasonably believe your account has been compromised.

You may not impersonate another person, create accounts fraudulently, or provide materially false account information.

5. Business Owners and Authorized Users

Business accounts may allow account owners to authorize employees, contractors, sales representatives, accountants, managers, customers, household partners, or other individuals to access portions of the Services through sub-accounts with role-based permissions.

The business account owner is responsible for assigning appropriate permissions, determining who should have access to business or household information, and removing access when it is no longer appropriate.

Users must only access information that they are legally authorized to access.

Legacy Detailing may provide role-based access controls, but the account owner remains responsible for properly configuring those permissions.

6. Household Partner Accounts

Account owners may create a restricted “household partner” login (for example, for a spouse or partner) that is limited to the personal-finance portions of the Services.

By creating a household partner account, the account owner represents that:

  • The partner has consented to the creation of the account and to the sharing of household financial information within the platform;
  • The owner has authority to enter contact information (including a mobile phone number) for the partner and to enable alerts and text-message reminders to that number; and
  • The owner will deliver the login credentials only to the intended partner.

Household features are shared by design: the owner and the partner can each see household bills, debts, income entries, budgets, tax set-aside activity, cash-flow information, and alerts relating to the household, including information entered by the other person. Do not enable household features if you do not want this two-way visibility.

The account owner may modify or remove a partner login at any time. Removing a partner login revokes the partner's access but does not automatically delete household records previously entered.

The account owner is responsible for the partner's use of the Services as if it were the owner's own use.

7. Personal and Household Financial Tools

The Services include personal and household financial tools such as budgets, bill and debt tracking, take-home-pay estimation, cash-flow forecasting, survival-mode analysis, shortfall “fail-safe” alerts, and Tax Vault set-aside tracking.

These tools produce estimates and projections based on information users enter and assumptions built into the software. They:

  • Do not constitute tax, financial, or investment advice;
  • Do not move, hold, transfer, or custody any money — all deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and tax payments are performed by the user outside the platform, and vault or budget balances shown in the Services are records the user maintains, not funds held by Legacy Detailing;
  • May differ from actual amounts owed, earned, or available, including actual tax liability; and
  • Depend on the accuracy and completeness of information the user provides.

Reminders and alerts (including payday reminders, catch-up recommendations, and partner shortfall alerts) are provided on a best-effort basis. Delivery is not guaranteed, and users should not rely solely on the Services to meet payment, deposit, or tax deadlines.

8. Subscriptions and Fees

Certain Services require a paid subscription or other fee.

Prices, billing periods, included features, usage limits, and applicable taxes will be disclosed before purchase.

Unless otherwise stated during purchase, subscriptions may automatically renew for successive billing periods until canceled.

Users authorize Legacy Detailing and its payment providers to charge the applicable payment method for recurring subscription fees and applicable taxes.

Certain features (for example, AI content generation) may be subject to usage-based fees, credits, or daily limits that will be disclosed within the applicable feature.

9. Cancellation

Users may cancel eligible recurring subscriptions through the available account-management functionality or other cancellation method provided by Legacy Detailing.

Cancellation ordinarily prevents future renewals but does not automatically refund amounts previously paid.

Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated at purchase, fees already paid are non-refundable.

10. Payments and Stripe

Payment processing on the platform (including subscription billing, invoice payments, payment plans, and marketplace transactions) may be provided by Stripe and other third-party payment processors.

Businesses that collect payments from their own customers through the Services may be required to create a connected account with Stripe and agree to the applicable Stripe agreements, including the Stripe Connected Account Agreement and the Stripe Services Agreement.

Legacy Detailing is not a bank, money-services business, or money transmitter, and does not hold customer funds. Payouts, chargebacks, refunds, and disputes are subject to the payment processor's rules and timelines.

The business collecting payment remains the merchant of record for its own customer transactions and is responsible for its own refund policies, sales-tax obligations, and customer disputes.

11. Financial Account Connectivity and Plaid

Certain Legacy Detailing features may allow users to connect financial accounts through Plaid.

Plaid is an independent third-party service provider and is not owned or controlled by Legacy Detailing.

When you elect to connect a financial account, you authorize the collection, transmission, processing, and use of financial information necessary to provide the features you request, subject to your permissions.

Plaid's handling of information is also governed by the Plaid End User Privacy Policy.

You are not required to connect a financial account unless a particular optional feature requires financial connectivity.

12. Financial Data

Depending upon the features authorized by the user, Legacy Detailing may receive financial information through Plaid, payment processors, or other authorized providers.

Such information may include account information, balances, transactions, and other financial information authorized by the user.

Legacy Detailing will use Plaid-derived end-user information only for authorized purposes consistent with applicable agreements, user permissions, and law, and will not sell or rent Plaid End User Data to marketers or other third parties.

13. Financial Information Is Not Guaranteed

Financial information obtained through banks, Plaid, payment processors, or other third parties may occasionally be delayed, duplicated, incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate.

Legacy Detailing does not guarantee that third-party financial information will always be current or error-free.

Users are responsible for reviewing important financial information before relying upon it for business or household decisions.

14. Payroll and Employment Features

Legacy Detailing may provide tools that assist businesses with payroll calculations, employee records, contractor records, compensation, commissions, performance management, tax estimates, forms, reporting, or related workforce functions.

The business using those features remains the employer or contracting party.

Legacy Detailing does not become the employer of a customer's workers merely because the Services assist with payroll, scheduling, performance tracking, or workforce management.

Employers remain responsible for worker classification, wages, overtime, withholding, tax obligations, employment documentation, workplace policies, benefits, hiring and termination decisions, and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

15. Tax and Accounting Features

Calculations, projections, classifications, set-aside estimates, and reports generated through Legacy Detailing (including 1099 tax set-aside estimates and Tax Vault targets) may assist with bookkeeping and business administration.

They do not constitute a guarantee that a tax return, estimated tax payment, payroll filing, accounting treatment, or government filing is correct or sufficient.

Users should review important tax and accounting information and consult qualified professionals when appropriate.

16. Customer and Vehicle Information

Business users may enter information concerning their customers, vehicles, appointments, photographs, service history, and other business records, and may invite their customers to use a customer portal.

The business user represents that it has the legal authority to collect, upload, and process information submitted to Legacy Detailing.

Businesses are responsible for providing their own customers with any legally required privacy notices or obtaining required permissions, including consent to receive electronic communications.

17. Communications and Text Messages

The Services may send email, in-app notifications, and SMS/text messages, including booking confirmations and reminders, payment and receipt notices, household financial fail-safe alerts, tax-vault payday reminders, and other service-related messages.

By providing a mobile phone number (your own or, with their consent, a household partner's) and enabling text-based features, you consent to receive such text messages at that number. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase. Recipients may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP (where supported) or adjusting notification settings, and may reply HELP for help.

Users who initiate communications to their own customers through the Services (email, SMS, or otherwise) are solely responsible for ensuring those communications comply with applicable laws, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CAN-SPAM, and state law, and for obtaining any required consent from their customers.

Message delivery depends on third-party carriers and providers and is not guaranteed. Legacy Detailing may impose restrictions or suspend communication functionality when reasonably necessary to prevent spam, abuse, or unlawful activity.

18. Legacy Academy, Marketplace, and Creator Content

The Legacy Academy provides training courses, lessons, quizzes, videos, and certifications, and may include a marketplace where approved creators (“Providers”) publish and sell course content.

Providers retain ownership of their original course content but grant Legacy Detailing a license to host, display, distribute, market, and deliver that content through the Services. Providers represent that they own or have licensed all rights in the content they publish, including any images, video, audio, and likenesses appearing in it.

Marketplace pricing, revenue sharing, payout timing, and refund handling will be disclosed within the applicable Provider or purchase flow. Payouts may be processed through third-party payment providers and are subject to their terms.

Certificates and badges issued through the Academy reflect completion of platform content only. They are not government licenses, trade certifications, or professional credentials, and do not guarantee any level of skill or business outcome.

19. Artificial Intelligence, AI Video, and Avatars

Certain features use artificial intelligence, including AI-assisted lesson and quiz generation, AI-generated images and video, and AI avatar features that can generate video content depicting a person based on a reference photograph the user uploads.

By uploading a photograph or other likeness for use with AI features, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are the person depicted, or you have obtained that person's express written consent for their likeness to be used to generate AI content;
  • You will not upload the likeness of any third party (including public figures) without authorization; and
  • You will not use AI features to create content that is deceptive, defamatory, infringing, sexually explicit, or otherwise unlawful, or to impersonate any person.

You grant Legacy Detailing and its AI service providers the license necessary to process uploaded reference materials and to generate, store, and deliver the requested AI content. AI processing may be performed by third-party AI providers, and prompts, reference images, and generated media may be transmitted to those providers to deliver the feature.

AI-generated information and media may contain errors, artifacts, or inaccurate statements. Users should independently review material recommendations before making significant business, employment, financial, legal, safety, or tax decisions. Legacy Detailing does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated output. AI features may be subject to usage limits, queuing, or delays.

20. Scheduling, Weather, and Location Features

The Services may include scheduling, dispatch, routing, mapping, and weather-aware rescheduling features that rely on third-party mapping and weather data providers.

Weather forecasts, travel times, and route information are estimates provided by third parties and may be inaccurate or unavailable. Users remain responsible for their own scheduling, routing, and safety decisions.

21. Demo Environment

Legacy Detailing may offer an interactive demo environment containing fictitious, seeded sample data for evaluation purposes. Demo data does not represent real customers, transactions, or results, and may be reset or removed at any time. Results shown in demos and marketing materials are illustrative and not a promise of performance.

22. User Content

Users retain ownership of information, photographs, documents, business records, course materials, and other content they submit to Legacy Detailing (“User Content”).

You grant Legacy Detailing a limited license to host, process, reproduce, transmit, and otherwise use User Content as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Services.

You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to provide such content.

23. Intellectual Property

The Legacy Detailing platform, including its software, source code, designs, workflows, interfaces, databases, branding, documentation, graphics, and other proprietary materials, is owned by Legacy Detailing or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Except for rights expressly granted under these Terms, no ownership rights are transferred to users.

24. Restrictions

Users may not misuse the Services. Among other things, users may not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or another user's account.
  • Circumvent authentication, permissions, subscription restrictions, usage limits, or security controls.
  • Introduce malicious software or intentionally interfere with the Services.
  • Scrape or systematically extract protected platform information except where expressly authorized.
  • Use the Services for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
  • Use another person's financial information, phone number, or likeness without authorization.
  • Use AI features to impersonate any person or to create deceptive or unlawful content.
  • Send unlawful, unsolicited, or non-consensual communications through the platform.
  • Resell access to the Services unless expressly authorized.
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to derive protected source code except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
  • Copy or reproduce proprietary portions of Legacy Detailing for the purpose of creating a substantially competing product in violation of applicable intellectual-property or contractual rights.

25. Third-Party Services

Legacy Detailing integrates with third-party providers, which may include:

payment processing (e.g., Stripe); financial connectivity (e.g., Plaid); SMS/text delivery (e.g., Twilio); email delivery; mapping and routing (e.g., TomTom); weather data; artificial-intelligence model providers; cloud hosting and file storage; analytics; and other infrastructure services.

Third-party services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies.

Legacy Detailing does not control the availability or operation of independent third-party services and is not responsible for outages, changes, or acts or omissions caused solely by those providers.

26. Data Security

Legacy Detailing uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information processed through the Services.

No electronic system can guarantee absolute security.

Users are responsible for protecting their own devices, passwords, and account credentials, including credentials issued to sub-accounts and household partners.

27. Availability, Maintenance, and Beta Features

We attempt to maintain reliable availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

The Services may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, software updates, internet failures, third-party outages, cybersecurity incidents, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Features identified as beta, preview, or early access are provided for evaluation, may change or be withdrawn at any time, and may be subject to additional limitations.

28. Suspension and Termination

Legacy Detailing may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary because of:

nonpayment; suspected fraud; security threats; unlawful conduct; material violation of these Terms; abuse of the Services (including messaging or AI abuse); risk to other users or third parties; or legal/regulatory requirements.

Where reasonably practical, we may provide notice before suspension or termination.

29. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

LEGACY DETAILING DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES NOT EXPRESSLY PROVIDED IN THESE TERMS, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE EXTENT SUCH DISCLAIMERS ARE PERMITTED BY LAW.

We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, completely error-free, or suitable for every business or household purpose.

30. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LEGACY DETAILING AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES OR LOST DATA ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO USE OF THE SERVICES, INCLUDING MISSED PAYMENTS, MISSED DEPOSITS, TAX UNDERPAYMENTS OR PENALTIES, OR UNDELIVERED ALERTS OR REMINDERS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LEGACY DETAILING'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY THE USER TO LEGACY DETAILING FOR THE SERVICES DURING THE 12 MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain limitations, so these limitations apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

31. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, business users agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Legacy Detailing and its officers, employees, and agents from third-party claims arising from the user's unlawful use of the Services, violation of these Terms, violation of another person's rights (including privacy, publicity, or likeness rights), communications sent to the user's own customers, or information/content uploaded without appropriate authorization.

32. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable federal law or other mandatory law provides otherwise.

33. Dispute Resolution

Before filing formal legal proceedings, you and Legacy Detailing agree to make a good-faith attempt to resolve disputes by contacting the other party and allowing a reasonable opportunity for resolution.

34. Changes to the Services and to These Terms

We may modify, improve, replace, or discontinue features of the Services.

Legacy Detailing may periodically update these Terms. The current version and effective date will be made available through the Services. When legally required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before materially revised Terms become effective.

35. Entire Agreement and Severability

These Terms, the Legacy Detailing Privacy Policy, applicable order forms, Provider agreements, and other agreements expressly incorporated by reference constitute the agreement between the user and Legacy Detailing concerning the applicable Services.

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.
